Our school, Dennett Elementary, is in Plympton, Massachusetts.
Plympton is located about 45 minutes southeast of Boston.
Our town was founded in 1707 and is named after Plympton, Devon, England.
There are about 2,700 people who live in Plympton. We’re a pretty small town! We get beautiful seasons. We usually have warm summers and cold, snowy winters. During the fall all of our leaves change to beautiful colors and we have a lot of cranberry bogs that are full of floating cranberries! The spring is nice but we usually get a lot of rain!
We love our town and we hope you will too!

Dear Mr. Avery,
Nice job finding the photos of Plympton. It’s so cool. It’s so beautiful. All of the leaves blend in and the snow looks so amazing. The trees in the background have some snow in them. See you tomorrow.

Ariel
I love your photos. Are the cranberries in the bog the kind of cranberries you can eat?
Dear Ihowlin,
Yes, the cranberries in the picture are real and you can eat them. I honestly don’t like cranberries but I hear that they’re delicious.
