    Dear Team 5,

Interesting method for teaching young people what is necessary to become newscasters.

The format and information offered is impressive.

I’ll certainly pass this blog along to others so they may see what our future commentators will be like.

    Sincerely,
    Maryalice

  2. Wow Amanda! Very well done and thank you for all of the new information. I’m proud of you and amazed by your professionalism. Are you sure you’re a 4th grader?

  3. Great job Amanda! I wasn’t aware that the vaquita was endangered. Excellent information!

  4. Ciao Mr. Avery and Class,

I have returned to check out what’s new. I see you are learning about
Barbados. I love the beach and it would be nice to visit there, especially
this time of year. Maybe someday Amanda we could travel there. Hope
you all are having a good week and I will check back soon.

    Dear Mr. Avery’s Team 5,

I’m very impressed with the work fourth graders are doing in Massachusetts. We didn’t get to do news stories online until sixth grade and they don’t look like this.

The information from all of them is interesting.

    Bye for now,
    Jamie

    Hey Amanda,

Nice going on the video. Sure hope we get to do that soon.

We’ll be moving to Bellingham, MA in June and maybe they will have this system for us.

I think it is awful that the vaquitas are being accidentally killed.

It is very funny that you and I are only six days apart in age and that you do so much more in school.

    Bye,
    Kyle (Lincoln, RI)

  8. Dear Amanda,

That is very sad about the vaquita dying. Maybe you can tell me more about the vaquita, like how long can it live, how many years it can live, when it has babies, and how many babies it has?

I hope that people can stop what they are doing! I had no idea what a vaquita was, but because your movie said a lot of things about the vaquita now I know more about them.
I hope that people can STOP what they are doing!

  12. Dear Mr. Avery,

I have to agree with Amanda I wish it was as simple as fourth grade. But she is right we do have middle school to look forward too as well as the rest of this year.
